BORSCHT

INGREDIENTS
-
10 cups water
-
3 Tbsp beef-like seasoning
-
1 large onion, diced
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
3 medium beets, coarsely grated or diced small
-
2 carrots coarsely grated or diced small
-
1 cup diced celery
-
2 medium potatoes, diced
-
4 cups shredded cabbage
-
1 small can diced tomatoes or 3 fresh tomatoes, diced
-
1 Tbsp lemon juice
-
1 Tbsp liquid aminos

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring water to a boil.

Add seasoning, onion, garlic, beets and carrots. Simmer 15 minutes.

Add celery and potatoes. Cook for another 10 minutes.
-
Add cabbage, tomatoes, lemon juice and liquid aminos. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
